CenturyLink - Six weeks of NO phone service, and it still is not repaired.
I lost land line service with Century Link in mid May. Since then, I have chatted online 4 times, called no less that 5 times, had one visit from a tech who did not fix the phone, then had to wait for another for three weeks for a service appointment. The subcontractor came and worked for 3 hours, said he couldnโt fix it, and that a specialist would be out the next day. Then it was a NO SHOW for service for three following days.
My situation is that I am 76 years old and live alone on a country road where cell phones donโt work. That land line is important to me Incase I need medical assistance or 911. Century Link has NOT listened to the needs of this customer.
They are supposed to be a communications business. Well,
Century Link has repeatedly dropped the ball for six weeks.
My neighbor on this road lost phone and DSL for a week.
They got repairs, but Century Link did NOT repair my phone which is about a block away from them.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.

WELCOME TO THE CLUB - I live in a rural area of southern Virginia. My landline service was finally repaired today after being out for 42 DAYS.I am also elderly and in poor health.
Cell phones do not work within 3 to 5 miles of my house. I could have easily been in a LIFE OR DEATH situation during the last 6 weeks.I have had landline telephone service for over 50 years.
I have had landline service at my current address for over 20 years. This is the first time that repair has every taken more then 2 or 3 days. Those of us who live in rural or mountainous areas are being seriously hurt by CenturyLinks current repair service policies.
this site should have a -5 as the worst company and worst service..Not sure why the FCC does not shut down this company
