N.y CenturyLink connection keeps disconnecting randomly during the night at wee hours of the night. The disconnection seems to very consistent and very nocturnal.

Something odd seems to be going on with CenturyLink.

Comcast has already had to settle for fraudulent behavior.. let's hope CenturyLink gets their connections together and don't have to succumb to the same fate.

Having very similar problems and have an open case with a law firm to sue them for fraudulent charges, over charges, incorrect refund (as in didn't give me the correct amount), as well as purposely getting to trick me into no tv returning the modem by not addressing that it needed to be done, so they could then try to charge me for it later.

contact the FCC.gov and FTC.gov and your attorney general for your state. There are thousands of the same kind of complaints.

I am having a horrible time with them also. They are being sued in several states by the attorney generals offices and I know they have things going on within the FCC and FTC regarding both of these companies.

I too have tried several time to claim the rewards card that was promised, and have gotten the most monumental run-around ever!! Rude staff and impossible requirements make it very unlikely that this $100 VISA card will ever be given out.

Centurylink doesn't even play by it's own rules, and changes the rules every time one gets close to completing their requirements. What a SCAM!!!

OMGOSH That’s scary. With them closing down all of their offices in Vegas and probably other States; it’s to easy for them to avoid their customers; at least those that they still have, it doesn’t seem like they care about negative reviews from current customers. It would be interesting to know how many customers have left after their contact was up.

I have already put in a complaint with both the FCC.gov and the FTC.gov regarding similar problems and contacted the state attorney generals office. They are under investigation for illegal practices in multiple states both Century Link and ATT direct tv.

This company is herrendous. very poor product and lousy customer service.

You should also complain to consumer affairs both on the federal and state level. I had a heck of a time with them and made my round of complaints last year when i finally had to drop their internet and go with Xfinity. I do pay more but I am so much happier with the internet performance.Century Link kept telling me my internet difficulties were due to line instability. long story short they would have had to access the line coming into the home which would have required a little digging.It's underground.

I was a customer of theirs for years and I signed up for "line gaurd" in the very beginning. Paid the monthly fee for it for some time.

And when I finally did have a line issue Century Link would simply not fix it.Had multiple technicians up here during the course of the last few months with them.I quit with them because I have never had a company sidestep issues and more or less bounce the repairing over to me. I never did get resolved with them.
