I totally agree! They give lame ads excuses!

That's why we cancelled their service and went with LV.Net. awesome service and honest people no hidden charges or fees. No they are messing with us on sending us a return label for their modem. And still trying to charge us for their service!!

Lol.

Switched over 11/28/20. Lame *** company from sales to customer service to loyalty and technical support what a joke!!!!!

Malfeasance

On 10.11.21 Century Link severed my internet connection while installing a next-door neighbors service. I was informed it would be 9 days before bothering to repair the damage. A technician arrived on 10.19.21 and stated that my line had been severed &;;;;;;;;; wired into the neighbors residence. A 9-day waiting period for this display of gross incompetence\negligence is inexcusable. I will not pay for repairs nor for the 9 days without service. If they hadnt monopolized this area; i.e., had competition, this crap would not be tolerated and they would be out of business. I will be compensated for this malfeasance or seek legal damages.

Item not needed. No return address label

My Century Link service man reprogrammed my older modem. No need for new one. How do I return item . No label was included with new item

Very poor internet service

I pay for the standard, because there isn't any others offered, internet service, I pay $49.00 for the service but if I were to deduct $1 each time the service went out, they would be paying me that and probably more. I can't count on service for Zoom meetings, classes or streaming. The worst part it's the only service in my area. It use to be good but now it is lousy!..

CL lies, provides inconsistent and contradictory information, and hasn't fixed my service.

My complaint covers several areas, including that I had set up an appt. for a CL technician to come to my home and had FIVE bits of communication (three emails and two phone calls, one at 8:45 p.m. the night before) that one was coming. Then I was told the appt. was actually the next day and that I had changed it. No, NOPE and NO! I've been in touch with CL's Customer Service. I've been in touch with their FB staff. NOTHING, NADA, NOTHING! Horrible service and a complete lack of professionalism. Not even a molecule of it.

User's recommendation: Avoid CL but know all other providers are almost as bad.

Terrible customer service

We have had problems with our internet service on all 3 accounts that we have with them. Trying to get the representative to understand the problem and send a technician to the correct address has been a very frustrating and upsetting task. We have had very poor internet service for over 2 months and they still have not fixed it! They charge a premium price but give the worst service ever!

No internet 6 days!!!

Been through 10 techs. All got cut off??

Never received a call back. I have 8 hours of my time helping them trouble shoot.

I have to use my phones data to even use internet. Now I will get charged for over use data

Outage

They suck. I own a business and our phones are down for a week. Just unacceptable for this long. I get tired of hearin COVID as an excuse! They are just lazy and slow and dont give a *** about customer service. I will be changing carriers soon enough. Poss poor!
