My wife and I have had century link for a year now if not a little more. Since we have had them we have noticed our speed was dropped from 20mbps down to 13mbps.

We never got any head up notice in speed changes untill i seen how slow my speeds were and the lag i was getting under them speeds. I was told over and over that the connection problems are in my lines. My wife has spoke to many CL customers and found out they are having the same problems we are. Speeds being dropped with out notice, but yet were still being over charged for lower speeds, plus a phone with basic service and long distance.

I have heard so many complaints with this company, how do they even keep running is beyond me. People with prism TV have issues with a frozen picture, and from my understanding its been going on for some time. Not one thing has been done about it, as far as i know about. Bad billing practices, really bad customer service skills.

I have contacted them via their Facebook contact me link. Its has been over 3 days with no response. I was told they responded, had they done so it would be in my email that i gave them. Their was no response!

If it is their it sure must be an invisible email. Prior to this contact from them. I've tried in the past to get this resolved, but all i get is switched around, and im sick and tired of it. I've wasted a total 3 hours the first time.

the second time was 1hr 45mn, third time was 45 minutes.

I still can't get the help i ask for in getting the billing issue resolved, let alone the speeds back that i was paying for. aside from that im paying more then the locked in price.

Monetary Loss: $110.

I still havent gotten any better result. So this Yr.

2016 is a time for change and we've since switched to Arvig. Screw Century link. They are the worst and will never do any thing to up their speeds. Over the last summer they put fiber lines on my property but not even connected to my house, yet the other people are getting it.

So hate this company. Arvig is more honest and far better on the speeds. I will keep em till i move to Az. then its google fiber there.

So looking forward to that!

It's rather nice to get century link the royal boot to the dang curb. Its time people did the same with them, do not let them *** over, and they will.

i have the same problem. my internet speed has dropped and the ping is sky high. every time i call them, they say there is nothing wrong on their end.

for the first 6 month we had them, they were awesome and after that it went down-hill
