I cancelled internet service October 17. Billing continued so I called and was told it had been cancelled and not to pay the November bill.

Then got a December bill. Called again (third time ). Couldn't get through. Did an online chat (much quicker) and was told it had never been cancelled and I was liable for Nov and Dec bill.

When I told them my story and what I was told by a customer rep, was told that rep was wrong and I was liable. Finally told them I was contacting consumer protection bureau and my state atty general office.

Within a couple minutes the you said "a supervisor gave me permission to cancel your service." I got it in writing (chat text) that the cancellation was effective October 17 2018. Man what a hassle
