CenturyLink - LIARS
I was promised a year at $89.85..the third month, the price went up substantially but I continued to pay what I had agreed on..(it's called a CONTRACT).After a few months of my bill getting compounded because I paid what Id agreed on,NOT the inflated amount, I cancelled them and got another service..I was continued being billed as though I was still a customer..I was accused of not returning the equipment, which I had done..I had to prove it with paperwork..They turned me to collections for $600+ I DID NOT OWE..I had an 817 credit rating before..They have no integrity and behave like a Mafia shakedown..Ive looked into the class action lawsuit...TERRIBLE, LIARS WHO BREACHED CONTRACT...they should be put out of business
Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Well, you can forget about some "class action" or similarly popular action people like to throw around. Your mistake was in not calling them when the bill went up and if they gave you a song and a dance about what you owe cancelling them immediately---not just paying what you believed you owed.
Whether or not you had an 817 credit score or not, them turning you over to collections will have a negligible effect on whatever your score was. You are correct in the arrogance and strong-arm tactics of these companies---they all operate the same.
Just ignore any calls or letters from a collection agency and forget about them. They will stop dunning you eventually.
