Centurylink - Decided to purchase router rather than lease..they sent me 2 for some reason..returned one as instructed..were to refund my account.
You can guess the rest....they credited my account 10.31 for some reason, but the agent doesn't know why because it isn't indicated on the account...no notes were recorded of previous chats ...conveniently...i'm leaning towards a corporate scam, because after checking with my neighbors, one has been double billed monthly for a year and one was duped into directv scam of some sort...this all took place in march in my case...i can already see the groundwork being laid for no refund as the agent chatted that it takes 90 days for processing of refunds...how come they can accept payments from you and process them 'much quicker'...
