Cancel Internet

Hi, I've tried every which way to cancel my service but am unable to do so. From online portal, it tells me this cannot be done over the internet so I need to call. I call and it tells me my phone number is not linked to any account (it's my only phone number) and my account number also does not work (it's 8 digits but phone says to enter 9 digit number). The Chat box tells me it is having trouble with my query. Please cancel my service!!! Thank you and good riddance.

Unable to close/delete Centurylink email

I have tried every possible way to completely close, cancel, snd delete an email account/address with Centurylink since they switched my internet to Brightspeed. I have tried every possible way to contact Centurylink and found it absolutely impossible! I have sent email after email to their Customer Service with no response. Absolutely no way of human contact! It has cross contaminated my other email that I use exclusively since we had identity theft! 2 years ago. I want all traces of my old Centurylink email obliterated!

Preferred solution: Total obliteration of my Centurylink email!

CenturyLink service stinks

On 12/16 we notified CenturyLink of land line serviced outage, on 12/20 a service tech responded and checked our equipment " your equipment is fine the problem is the cable", The tech said he had reported the problem. Since that time our land line service has been out and we have been given any number of days it would be repaired. As of this date 1/26/2024 the outage continues, what are we paying for? At no time in the problem time has CenturyLink offered any comment or explanation ! Do you really expect to get paid foe service not rendered?

If there was a negative star I would choose it. We have Wi-Fi for 20 minutes then it goes out for 20 minutes. This is an ongoing cycle. Sometimes its out for even longer!!

To report the worse customer service in the world

Several weeks ago the water company while putting in pipes cut the century link cable. This was over the weekend and there is no CL emergency contact/service so the whole street had no connectivity including for some of us land lines.

Then it was reported by several of us but still there were delays in getting any help for everyone who was out of service. Finally CL put in external wiring/cable linkiing us all up to one or two pedestals, promising to come back and provide permanent fix. CL subcontracted to another company who has only information on one affected home rather than us all.

I have tried to get appointments at least four times. This is impossible.

Home phone line not working

they tried fixing it 8 mos ago and it stopped working it's been about 8 mos without a home line last week i waited all day Saturday got a text at 500ish saying problem was fixed but no one came to my house , by the way home line still not working waited all day this Saturday no show what a fricken waste of my time

Not working

It seems the service is going out a lot.It is very hard to get a hold of them unless you chat or do virtual.I would prefer to talk to a live person.but in order to do that you have to wait forever..they tell you it will be 4 or 5 days before they can fix the problem.I work from home and can't miss 4 or 5 days.

Horrible customer service

Was scammed into changing from Qwest.com to Hughes Net. Was lied to about service and cost etc.

According to three Century link techs my system did not need to be changed but CL insisted. Like a fool I gave in and then there has been trouble ever since. This has been going on since 10/2023. Still not totally resolved.

I cannot use the e-mail program as they lock you out for a period of time after you change your pass word. Had this "service" since 2000. I think I have proved my worthiness. Not finished with them yet.

I'm 80 years young and can still fight for what is right just like my 96 year young Aunt. Avoid at all costs.

Bad Billing Habits

I called in September to fix our service. They said it was fixed, never was.

My dad called and cancelled our service in October 2023.

He noticed in early January that they were still charging him so he called again with the case number from Oct.

they said theyd get it cancelled and have a superior call my dad that same day to back pay us the four months of no service in which it was supposed to be cancelled.

Never heard from them again until today when they called him and said he still owed them money for this month. They even threatened to send him to collections and this is a man who pays EVERYTHING on time ALWAYS.

No internet it's an emergency

I have no Internet service and I am told that I will not have it until next Friday eight days without Internet and I have a mother who needs to be in contact with her doctor since being released from the hospital and we need the Internet. It is an urgent issue for us to have that service immediately..

8 phone lines down for 7 weeks

Non-existent customer service. No phone since 11/30. Countless call, and technicians . Only thing customer service can do is send tech who can't solve problem. Can't talk to supervisor.
