I just added CL a couple of months ago.I had not received a bill, until I got a disconnect notice. I explained I had not previously received a bill. All the customer service agent said was oh, I can collect your payment now. When I asked why bill was so high, all she had to say was added fees, she coukd even break down what the added fees are. The experience we have had with this company has been absolutely deplorable. It has no value for its customers, it is poorly organized and hangs up on you after trying to figure out issues for over an hour. We had an appointment where a tech came over to start services on 3/9/16 where this tech, Craig, came over and then left a note by our front door (which we rarely use and ended up not finding the note until Friday, 3/11/16), he did not call...

Today was my 9th encounter with this company in the month that I have "used" their service. The first time I called they allegedly scheduled my service to be turned on for the following Monday, I was happy about this, and was told that my router would come in the mail on that day ( this was the Thurs before). I have had the worst experience with centurylink than I've had with any other company. I was to have a modem by last Wednesday, never received it. Then, I was to have an overnighted modem by Saturday, never received it. How many different morons do you have working here honestly? As soon as there are other service providers in our area we are dropping century link.

When the installer arrived his information was quite different ; after trying to get things worked out on the phone . I canceled the install . We requested a new install, the tech arrived, no ID badge, did not offer a business card. Just entered my home, mumbled something and had to for another tech to arrive for "card" he did not have. He left without explanation of what he did or anything in "writing". We spend hours of days trying to get a 2nd computer to work. Paperless means no accountability or commitment to customers. Horrible sales reliabilty. Ultimate bait and switch, downright lies. Was told installation was free, was charged 59.99 to have tech plug in módem. Told paper bill, actually required to autopay. No phone as originally told. Call center will tell you anything to get a sale.

Bought a house, called to change service, finally got them to come out, but no internet, they had the line hooked up, but incorrectly, trying to contact someone is a joke. All I wanted was internet, now I'm being billed for a line I don't have, a late for service I've only had for a month. My original deal was 34.99 a month, my bill this month is 113.71. I decided to get my 55 year old mother Centurylink internet after my father passed so she would have something to keep her mind busy. We paid the $75.00 deposit and paid them for the installation. Was told it would take about 20 days to get internet service. Ha? i called Comcast and they were out in 2 days. I called to cancel Century link. The guy says, "there is no account for you, so we will have to re-create your account." I hung up. The unit came and I returned it to Century link via UPS. Waiting to rectify my bill. Idiots is all I can say....Idiots.
