This company is herrendous. very poor product and lousy customer service.

You should also complain to consumer affairs both on the federal and state level. I had a heck of a time with them and made my round of complaints last year when i finally had to drop their internet and go with Xfinity. I do pay more but I am so much happier with the internet performance.Century Link kept telling me my internet difficulties were due to line instability. long story short they would have had to access the line coming into the home which would have required a little digging.It's underground.

I was a customer of theirs for years and I signed up for "line gaurd" in the very beginning. Paid the monthly fee for it for some time.

And when I finally did have a line issue Century Link would simply not fix it.Had multiple technicians up here during the course of the last few months with them.I quit with them because I have never had a company sidestep issues and more or less bounce the repairing over to me. I never did get resolved with them.

Today received an email from Century Link telling me I needed to wait 5 days for anything to be done. Although this has been going on since December 24th.

Also to add to it AT&T now has referred my account to collections because Century Link did not pay them, even though they are being paid. I made sure I let them know I had the original chat outlining my charges, what I had not received that I had been promised by them, and how mad I was that I pay my bill including what they are supposed to pay to AT&T and now am in collections and have no service.

The person decided to escalate it up and talk to some people and that is where it was left. Waiting to see what happens if anything.

I have been getting help through your loyal programs and my bill was around $55 dollars a month which was perfect for us which included our landline and computer now I have to pay $65.00 plus taxs which puts my bill close to 80.00 dollars which will be a hardship on us, we are senior citizen and our income is only $47,000.00 a year and with everything going up its hard and I am sure you do not care. Well, you can forget about some "class action" or similarly popular action people like to throw around. Your mistake was in not calling them when the bill went up and if they gave you a song and a dance about what you owe cancelling them immediately---not just paying what you believed you owed.

Whether or not you had an 817 credit score or not, them turning you over to collections will have a negligible effect on whatever your score was. You are correct in the arrogance and strong-arm tactics of these companies---they all operate the same.

Just ignore any calls or letters from a collection agency and forget about them. They will stop dunning you eventually.

STUPID CENTURYLINK OPERATORS!!!!!!

This month I cancelled my Centurylink service of many years!!1 I have called and requested a lower monthly bill and informed them of my Super SLOW internet!!1 So as soon as I cancelled they have called me SIX times including Sat. Wanting to know WHY I cancelled, I informed them SIX time's !!! And even wanted to know what company I was with and how much I was PAYING!!! I informed Centurylink it was none of their DAMN business and if i was such a Valued customer, then why didn't they value me when I WAS their customer!!! I am WITH WAVE!!!!!! FAST internet!!!!!! Better TV picture and a lot less monthly bill!!!!!!!!!!!
