i had century link and was promised a certain price for one year..EVERY TIME within 2 months, the price would change. Id be on the phone for at least an hour every couple months..Id want to cancel but century link would offer me a lower price.

Finally jan 31st 2018, I spoke with Ashley at customer service to cancel. She verbally contracted with me, one year at $89.85/month..I agreed. THAT CONSTITUTES A CONTRACT. Within 2 months, the price substantially increased..I continued paying the amount I contracted for..When I finally cancelled Cent Link, I continued to be billed as though I still had their service..I was also accused of NOT returning their equipment..I was also charged with the difference between the $89.85 I was contracted to pay and the increased bogus amount they charged me..As for the lies that I hadnt returned the equipment, I, a 69 yr old disabled Vietnam veteran, had to drive all over town to find a centlink store to get the receipt proving I had returned it..I continued being billed for amounts I never owed as I continued paying the AGREED AMOUNT till I cancelled..My 817 credit rating has been ruined as they turned me over to collections for $600+ I DO NOT OWE.

I have filled out paperwork to enter the class action lawsuit against the criminal..mafia type lying shakedown and contract breeching of cent link..Ive NEVER stiffed a company..had awesome credit, NEVER had a collection agency harrass me until the lying, cheating, fake charges of cent link..a company who should be investigated and closed down. I hope they all go to prison and have to pay billions in damages to innocent people like me

Reason of review: lying, cheating, breeched contract, harrassed and ruined my 817 credit rating..SCAMMERS, CROOKS, LIARS.

Monetary Loss: $615.

Preferred solution: restore my credit..admit your lying breech of contract and NEVER contact me by collections or your company again..YOU ARE CROOKS AND LIARS.

I have had the same problem. They admitted finally to receiving my equipment but their practice is not to credit your acct for it unless you call to ask if it was received.

Finally got someone to give me final owed and I of. Had to use Facebook to get that though. Now I have a second collections company trying to shake me down for what I already paid.

This all happened after being harassed by a customer service rep and sworn at when I wouldn't agree to keep my landline. Ridiculous greedy and moronic.
