Century link is awful to put it mildly! First, they called me saying that I didnt have enough bandwidth to use my Internet.

I have not been home a month thats what a crock to you know what this is. Then after I finally talk to a human being, which took me five attempts because they said they dont have my phone number. Its been my same phone number for over 20 years then she said she would link my account to my phone number and when I called again right now of course its not linked and they just hang up on you. This place sucks!

I have an order number, I have a phone number I have text messages promising that this will be done today and no dice.

Oh, I forgot to tell you that the woman I did talk to last week couldnt speak English very well, and she promised me it would be fixed that day. Its funny how they could turn your Internet off with one switch, but they cant activate your broadband size increase which of Costco course cost me more more money and they couldnt really verify why anyway, if I can ever find an agent, I might get a chance to talk to someone but thats doubtful

Poor response time

Have not had internet since 7/6/23 at 6:30 pm and everyday it goes out another 24 hrs until resolved. Customer service is the weakest I have ever dealt with. They know nothing. Site says one thing and automated phone service says another. Over all inept at resolving issues. Worse decision.

Dealing with CenturyLink is a NIGHTMARE! They hire people that speak English BUT DON'T UNDERSTAND IT.

AND, YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND THEM. I SPENT 1 HOUR AND 30 MINUTES ON MY SECOND ATTEMPT THIS MORNING. I STILL DON'T HAVE INTERNET AND POSSIBLY NOT UNTIL THE 10TH. WHO KNOWS IF I WILL THEN.

I've been with this company for many years. If I were the CEO of this business, I would be utterly ashamed at how this business is being run!! Come on CenturyLink - Is it possible for this business to get its *** TOGETHER??? It is obvious from the terrible reviews I've just read that this business DOES NOT care about their customers NOR their business.

They are running it into the ground. You should fire all the MF at the top and start over. They are not doing a thing to improve their business or customer service. They are ONLY DRAWING A PAYCHECK.

YOU HAVE TO DO SOMETHING AT THE TOP TO IMPROVE.

AND, ALL OF YOU AT THE TOP KNOW YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS SHAM! DO BETTER!!

Poor connection with constant drops in service. Every time it rains I lose internet.

Every time it rains service drops. I pay full price for a internet connection that is unusable when it rains in florida.

The internet connection drops constantly.

There is extra line in the ground between pole and house the techs have told me that is where the problem is.

But Century link will not fix it, because they do not have to.

I WAS TOLD THAT IF THE LOCATION WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE, THE SUPERVISOR COULD DECIDE TO STOP SERVICING MY ADDRESS.

If there are any other choices, go with them.

Avoid CL. They are actually lobbying to be allowed to disregard home customers for their business customers do

You made me switch to Spectrum Internet because you were having problems with your service and my Internet would quit in a couple days and you were working with Spectrum. Now I have switched and I cannot get my emails and I cannot copy off the labels to send my internet equipment back to you. I want to continue with my lmburtch@***.com email.

I am writing on behalf of my 84 year old Aunt because shes unable to communicate. Shes been without service for seven days.

Prior to this she was without service for seven days and another time she was out of service for at least seven days. This is her third go around. She lost her husband a few months ago and she has an aging dog. She has no way to be in contact with family and she has no way to get help for her dog, should she need it.

She is suffering and CenturyLink is aware of it.

Shes gone without Internet, telephone, and cable services these three times because the trash truck knocks down the CenturyLink system on the pole. This has happened three times and CenturyLink never thinks to move the location of the system. Further, they know my aunts situation, and they placed what they called a medical tag. on her service appointment in hopes that someone would get there earlier.

They didnt, they havent, and they wont. Customer service by phone is a joke.

It is a fascinating exercise and NOT helping. Even when the automated response states back your request and then offers to connect you with a human representative, it then kicks you back into the maze: tell us why youre calling a full repeat of the steps Id already taken.

They should be ashamed of themselves.

Returning a request to reach them but I can't.

They sent me an email requesting that I contact them. After 2 hours and extreme frustration I was finally able to talk to someone.

I was on hold for an unreasonable amount of time and was told that there were 150 others waiting after me. I told the guy that they should have anticipated that. This was all due to their modem supplier going out of business causing me to possibly lose my internet connection. Even then he couldn't give me an answer as to what the final result was going to be.

This is total *** and one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever gone through in my 81 years of life on this planet.

Why in the *** can't you talk to someone in less than 2 hours? I'll tell you why, because it is Lumen/Century Link, that simple.

Horrible internet service

I have been with century link for years, their service has gone from poor to horrible. I live in Aurora Co.

and my internet service keeps disconnecting all day long. I talked to someone from the repair dept. earlier today, a real person !!! He said they were going to monitor my service for $72 hours.

I got back on the internet @2:53 today and again I was completely disconnected and I called their service and repair #, spent 15 minutes with their horrible bot and finally got connected with some one from a different country, I asked to speak to someone from the U.S. since I had called earlier and I was told I would have to keep calling until someone from the US picked up the phone.

I am fed up with trying to get help from outsourced reps. I am angry, frustrated and tired of dealing with Century Link, which does not provide any service anymore, either you are trying to communicate with a bot, or talking to someone from a different country with zero training.Bewar

Thanks for the opportunity to add more information. I can be upset with everyone but the sanitation service can't get internet/cable/phone service up and running.

My aunt addressed the issue with the city and was told that the ISP usually coordinates with them to figure out another route, etc. when there's a problem. Given the size of trucks it seems that the onus is on the ISP (CenturyLink) to figure out a position that's safe and clear. The technician who eventually came to restore service commented on the way the cables had been run through trees, etc.

It was a mess. Meanwhile, she's paying for connection and the average wait time for repair is 7 days.

Thirty year customer about to cancel my phone and Internet. At least once a year my discounts disappear after I've requested repair service. It takes months to correct the errors.
