My original modem, which was working perfectly for several years, crashed on January 15. I called CL the following morning (Friday) and they confirmed it was my modem, saying they would send out a replacement and I should receive it on Monday. I pay for 40mb internet at my house. In the past 9 months I have averaged 7 days each month of internet outages and I have never come close to achieving even half the speed that I pay for. Today, Nov. 13, 2014, we had record low temperatures in Colorado Springs. While we were eating dinner at about 6:45 pm our doorbell rang. The way I see it, you have two choices. 1) Make your product free, and then these problems are excusable: after all, you are getting it for free, so you don't get to whine about the quality. 2) Charge hard earned money for your product and make it worth the purchase. I took over paying bills from wife, and missed our cable bill since it was not on the fridge. Well I paid the *** thing and on the confirmation page I printed out said it takes up to 5 days. Well the money left my account. I have a confirmation. NO CABLE! One of our business lines went down and they finally got it back up and then started a new contract on it. Called to set up service....5 day wait. Fine... What time?....no specific time. Install date comes...12 noon... No tech... 3pm...no tech. Called and was told "before 5"....5pm no tech. Called again... Told "after 5"....5:45pm no tech. Called again....Told " your connection should work around 6:30pm... So...
