Salesman neglected to tell me that I would be not only be paying for the wireless modem, but $17 to ship it to my home". My first bill was $80 instead of the $29/.99 quoted to me over the phone?. Next I try to pay my bill online (they are an internet company after all), but their system doesn't recognize my account number, then freezes up, then asks me to try again later:. I called customer service and get a recording that states they are closed after 6:00 pm and suggests I use the internet,. What a joke?! Somehow I'm finally able to view my bill only to find out the balance due increased by $40 in 3 days'. They entice consumers with false advertising and justify overcharging with fees and ridiculous "services",. Century Link's customer service is useless and I have the same internet response time as the TV turtles.. DO NOT USE CENTURY LINK INTERNET SERVICES! 128f787

I have a 40 down 20 up for internet and when I play call of duty I always have a 3 bar or less. For a peer to peer game its sad that with a connection like this I can't get host or a 4 bar. If you are a gamer do not get centurylink it will drive you crazy with the lag discrepancy. Stay clear!!!

sence centurylink come in my life it has been a nitemare i can't even get my email i have tryed everything still no luck. i'll take the old way of qwest anytime over these rip off jerks. yes contact me by email made you can figure out how to get it i can't your service sucks and i mean sucks.

I NEVER complain about service or ask for fees to be waived. However, when I'm lied to, I feel the need to talk to someone about it and get the result I was promised. 

 

There was a fee of $25 to restore the service after I was late paying my bill. I was told by a Century Link employee when I had my service restored on the phone that if it was a first offense, Century Link would 100% waive the fee. He told me I needed to 'call back' when I received my bill- that he couldn't waive it at that time. Today, I spent 20 minutes on the phone and on hold talking to two employees about getting this fee waived and they said they couldn't but I was promised before so I don't understand.  

 

On top of all this, I spoke to a floor supervisor, Armando today who was SO INCREDIBLY RUDE I couldn't believe I was talking to someone who supervises customer service staff. If I could have cancelled my service today, I would have but I didn't want to have to go to those extremes. 

 

All I want is for the fee to be waived as promised. It is $25.  

 

Please advise- I can't believe the way I've been treated as a new customer.

I was disconnected for over a day and still have received no explanation, and I certainly know about their false advertising on the prices. They're con artists in my opinion.

The more we know about our Century Link Prism service the less we get. Today we were told that the Free video service has a fee! What about Free and Fee don't they get? Also their VOD is supposed to have TV, but it doesn't. Add that to the fact that we are paying $117 a month for service that was supposed to be $84 ("We could never offer that price") and it's been one bad experience after another.

I don't even remember my dial up being as bad as your suck *** svc! I never rant and rave about anything, but I must say your svc is the worst in the world! Bar none! If I wasn't lock into a 2yr contract with you *** I would wipe my *** with your *** svc and flush it down the toilet where it belongs! PS horrible customer svc also only open m-f 8-6 WTF! Are you guys retarded!? You of all people should know that people only have troubles at night ! Get someone on the phone to help your overpaying customers! Not only is their svc the worst in the sickening box of *** isp providers but their customer svc is horrible as well, add to that the dumb *** are only open 8-6 mst BULLSHIT!!
